New Player Information

New players to Ashnoor do not need any costume, weapons, equipment or knowledge of the game in order to attend. You can simply turn up and join in.

When you arrive at the field, you will need to complete the signup process, then you will be given a weapon - and taken through an orientation process, in which we train you on the rules, the basics of how the game functions, and how to use the weapon you were given.

After training, you'll typically have three rounds of exciting combat. It's lots of fun, you'll love it.

If you need more information, or have any questions, you can contact the Ashnoor team Here.

Lore

Battlecry Fields of Ashnoor takes place on the war-ravaged Island of Ashnoor. The world is a medium fantasy early gunpowder medieval setting. Players represent either members of our 2 factions, (the Kingdom of Geldhiem and the Hadovean Empire, who are both locked in a centuries old war) or those residing in the contested land between the two factions. The weekly battle games determine military outcomes of the storyline from week to week, with consequences of victory and defeat rolling over into the game world. You can read more about the world in our player portal website, which is updated regularly.

As well as our main campaign games that are referenced above, we also run regular social games where we get to mix up the sides and the occasional story game which is set in our world but not part of the main Gelheim / Hadovean conflict
